Some Simple Ideas Using the Main kit

Hi, friends! I want to share another layout I did with the gorgeous February Main kit from 3 Scrappy Boys. Once I received the kit, I started to think of other ways I could use this kit other than the traditional love layouts to our significant others or our family. I came up with a photo of my scraproom and decided to dedicate to the love of the hobby. Scrapbooking of course!

This one is my scrapbook table on 2010, it has not changed so much since then!

In addition, I want to share some simple tips and/or ideas on how to use the Main kit:

• Use the light brown Jillibean chipboard letters to document the year in addition to the title:

• Use a mid size heart punch and apply black pen faux stitching thru the middle of the hearts. 
• Apply faux stitching using a black pen to the mat of your photo(s). 
• Insert the so beautiful Maya Road heart pins thru the fabric flowers. 
• Use the divine Elle's Studio tags for journaling. 

• Mat your Crate Paper border stickers for easily check the placement while creating your layout.
• Fussy cut the red hearts from Crate Paper border stickers.
• Layer your chipboard pieces like I did here, where I put the heart over the scroll piece.

• and do not forget to use your 2 inches strips and cut one triangle thru the end. This paper shape is very popular this day. It is a great way to use your scraps. For the final touch, doddle some faux stitching thru the border,too.

Hope, I inspired you to use some of this ideas when creating with your kit. They are not new, but they are simple and fast, letting you to have more time in documenting your stories.
